## Good to Know
- The tour is approximately 3 to 3.5 hours long.
- Suitable for all skill levels; bring the best camera you have including smartphones.
- Recommended for guests 8 years and older.
- Guests with children under 4’9” or under 65 lbs must bring their own booster or car seats.
- The tour is wheelchair accessible but guests must be able to get in and out of a vehicle at least once.
- Expert guides will drive to multiple locations along park boundaries and wilderness areas via the Denali Highway.
- Late June through mid-July is prime wildflower season in the high alpine.
- Wear comfortable supportive shoes and prepare for variable weather with extra layers and raincoat.
- Mosquito protection is advised: long sleeves and pants, and insect repellent.
- Limited bathroom facilities; "facili-trees," gas station, coffee shop stops, and supplies are available.

### Where does this Alaska Photo tour meet?  
Transportation is provided to and from all Denali area hotels. Please call the number located on your e-ticket to schedule your pick-up location.

### How long is this photography tour?  
The duration is approximately 3 to 3.5 hours.

### Is the tour appropriate for children?  
This tour is recommended for guests 8 years old and above. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Alaska State Law requires use of a car seat or booster seat for children under 4’9″ or less than 65lbs. You are responsible for providing their own safety seats if needed. Denali Photo Guides does not provide safety seats.

### What do I wear?  
Comfortable and supportive shoes are recommended as there may be some walking on variable terrain if desired. Weather can change quickly in Denali so bring an extra layer and a raincoat. Temperature, time of day, amount of wind and general weather conditions all factor into how many mosquitos will be out. It's recommended to wear long-sleeved shirts and pants to protect yourself from mosquitos.

### What do I bring?  
Bring your camera, lenses and an extra battery, along with hand sanitizers and wipes. In an effort to reduce waste, please bring your own reusable water bottle and your own snacks. If you're sensitive to mosquito bites, it's recommended to bring your own bug spray or wipes, and wear long-sleeved shirts and pants to protect your skin.

### What is included in this experience?  
This tour includes roundtrip transportation to and from Denali area hotels, free use of tripods and filters, photo tour shuttle, and an expert guide. Digital cameras with long zoom lenses are available to rent, and you keep the memory card.

### Are there any physical restrictions for this tour?  
Activity level for this tour is easy. In most cases, guests with limited mobility can be accommodated. Individuals requiring wheelchairs can take the tour if they are able to get in and out of a vehicle at least once (at pick-up and drop-off) either on their own or with assistance from a companion. Denali Photo Guides may not be able to provide assistance. Please contact the number on your e-ticket to make accommodations for your group.

### How many people will be on the tour?  
There is a maximum of 4 participants per tour.

### What if I don't have a camera?  
You can use your smartphones. Denali Photo Guides also offers digital cameras with long zoom lenses for rent. This includes a memory card which you can keep afterwards.

### Are bathrooms available on the tour?  
There are limited opportunities to use a bathroom during the tour, however, there are many “facili-trees” that you can use at any time. There are no scheduled stops for bathroom breaks but they will stop if needed. There is a gas station and a coffee shop that could be used after the first 40 minutes to an hour and again in the last 40 minutes. The bushes are always an option and they carry toilet paper, trash bags, wipes, and hand sanitizer in all of our trucks.
