## FAQs

### Do I need to make a reservation prior to arrival?
Yes, in order to enter, BOTH a park reservation and valid admission ticket are required prior to arrival. Please check to see if your desired date and theme park is available BEFORE purchasing your ticket by clicking on the Check Availability Calendar. After purchase, follow the link provided in your confirmation to set-up your MyDisney account and select the date you plan on attending the park through the Disney Park Pass reservation system. Given the limited availability of reservations, it is recommended that you make your theme park reservations immediately after purchasing your admission. Buying a ticket does not guarantee you admission without an advance reservation. Capacity is limited and sells out fast during peak periods. Park Hopper tickets require a reservation for the first park you plan to visit for each day. You can hop to another park with the Park Hopper after 11 AM based on park capacity.

### How much is parking at Disneyland? Where do I park?

Need to swap out an option? No problem. Disney Genie service will continue to offer new suggestions throughout the day, so you can make the most of your time during your visit.

### What is Disney Lightning Lane Multi Pass?
Disney Lightning Lane Multi Pass provides all of the great features that come with the complimentary Disney Genie Service, but with even more convenience and flexibility. Once you've entered the park, you can begin selecting the next available arrival window for Lightning Lane entrances at select attractions, once per ride per day. A variety of attractions across both theme parks are eligible, which is great for guests with Park Hopper Tickets. The Lightning Lane Multi Pass is available for purchase as a single-park or multi-park ticket option.

### How can we take advantage of the Lightning Lane Entrances?
Get quicker entry to select attractions by purchasing arrival windows for Lightning Lane entrances throughout Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. There are 2 options to purchase and select arrival windows for Lightning Lane entrances. And since each option offers a different set of attractions to choose from, you can combine the two. 1). With the purchase of Disney Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you can select the next available arrival window for Disney Lightning Lane entrances at select attractions. You can make one selection at a time, after park entry on the day of your visit (attractions are subject to limited availability; limit one Lightning Lane selection per attraction per day). There are a variety of attractions throughout Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park that are included in this service. Guests with a Park Hopper ticket and an appropriate park reservation may cross over and switch between parks on the same day beginning at 11 AM to experience the attractions at the other park with this service. 2). For some of the most highly demanded attractions, Lightning Lane entrance access will be available to purchase individually. Guests may purchase and select the next available arrival window for up to 2 attractions per day. This option will be available for all guests with valid theme park admission and park reservations.

### How long do I have to wait between making Disney Lightning Lane Multi Pass selections for the Lightning Lane?
Once you’ve redeemed your initial selection (or the arrival window has passed), you can use the Disney Genie service Tip Board or My Day itinerary to see when you’re eligible to make another selection. You can make selections, one at a time, all day up to regular park closing, subject to availability and limited to one Lightning Lane selection per attraction per day.

### What is Disneyland Early Entry? How is it different from the Magic Morning and Extra Magic Hour?
Disneyland's Early Entry is simply as the name suggests. Guests who are checked in and staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel can take advantage of admission to Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park 30 minutes prior to the general public, letting you beat the crowds to enjoy select attractions, shopping, and dining. Guests will need to show proof of their hotel stay to get access to the park by showing a valid hotel room key and/or theme park ticket. The old Magic Morning and Extra Magic Hour are now discontinued. - Magic Morning provided admission to select attractions, shops and dining at Disneyland one hour before the park opened to the general public, It was included on the 3-Day theme park or longer, and was only valid on select days (Tuesdays, Thursdays or Saturdays). - Extra Magic Hour was only available to guests who stayed at a Disneyland Resort hotel. ### How do rain and inclement weather affect the availability of attractions and entertainment at the Disneyland Resort?
In the event of inclement weather during your visit to the Disneyland Resort, most attractions and indoor shows will continue to operate. For the safety and comfort of Disneyland's guests and cast, some outdoor attractions may temporarily close until the inclement weather passes. These attractions may include: DISNEYLAND: Alice in Wonderland Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoes Gadget's Go Coaster The Mad Tea Party Main Street Vehicles Pirate's Lair on Tom Sawyer Island Storybook Land Canal Boats Please visit City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. during your visit for updated information. DISNEY CALIFORNA ADVENTURE PARK: Golden Zephyr Goofy’s Sky School Jumpin’ Jellyfish Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters Redwood Creek Challenge Trail Please visit the Chamber of Commerce on Buena Vista Street during your visit for updated information. Inclement weather may also affect entertainment—including shows and parades—in both parks. All outdoor attractions will close when lightning is observed in the area. Refunds are not issued for weather.

### Can I visit both parks in one day?
Yes, you can visit both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure parks on the same day if you purchase a Park Hopper Ticket. Since there is so much to see and do at the Disneyland Resort, we recommend planning a multi-day visit. There are many multi-day ticket options that allow you to explore both parks at a more relaxed pace.

### Is there a dress code for what to wear to Disneyland?

### What security measures does Disneyland have in place?
