Historic Boston Taverns Tour is recommended for ages seven (7) and up. The tavern stops serve not only alcoholic drinks but also sodas. Guests must be age 21+ with valid photo ID to consume alcoholic beverages.

### Is there parking available?

Parking garages and open-air parking lots are available within a 5-minute walk from where your tour begins. There are open-air parking lots along Commercial Street and Atlantic Avenue in the North End or garages at Aquarium and Haymarket. The best way to get around Boston is by MBTA subway. If you take public transportation, the closest subway stops are Haymarket (orange & green lines) and Aquarium (blue line), with commuter rail service at North Station.

Cash tips or gratuities are customary for tour guides and much appreciated if you enjoyed the Historic Boston Taverns Tour. The standard gratuity for Boston guides is 10 to 15%.

### What should I bring with me?

Bring a camera and a small bottle of water. Best to apply sunscreen on your exposed skin and wear sunglasses when it's hot out. On the other hand, Boston can get cold, so wear layers of clothing and bring gloves and a scarf. Don't forget an umbrella on rainy days.
