## Good to Know

* Suitable for flyers of various ages, from kids as young as 3 to adults. Participants should weigh less than 300lbs and be in good physical condition.  
* No experience needed; you'll receive a safety briefing and training session from certified instructors before your flight.  
* For the best experience, please arrive 20 minutes ahead of your scheduled flight time to allow for check-in.  
* Each flight lasts about a minute, equivalent to 1.5 skydives from 12,000 feet. The total experience lasts for 1 hour 30 minutes from start to finish.  
* All you need to wear are casual clothes and snug-fitting lace-up sneakers or running shoes; you'll wear a flight suit over your own clothes.  
* The goggles are roomy enough to be worn over eyeglasses; secure your hair in a braid or low bun to fit the helmet.  
* Flying is not recommended for individuals who are pregnant, have non-removable hard cast/prosthetics, head, neck, back, or shoulder injuries, or have a heart condition.  
* If you're under 18 and want to take flight, make sure to have a parent or guardian present to sign your flight waiver.

### How similar is it to real skydiving?

iFLY's indoor skydiving facilities accurately replicate the exhilarating freefall phase of traditional skydiving through their recirculating wind flow. This is why skydivers from all around the globe love to use them as valuable training grounds.

### What's the duration of each flight?

Each flight within the wind tunnel lasts 60 seconds. When jumping from an airplane, the free fall portion lasts approximately 45 seconds. Your admission includes two (2) one-minute flights. The total experience lasts roughly 1.5 hours, including check-in, the training session, flight time, and time after your flight to remove gear and look at photos and video if interested.

### Is indoor skydiving safe?

Yes, the iFLY vertical wind tunnel uses superior technology to produce smooth wall-to-wall airflow that is safe to fly in. Certified flight instructors will also ensure safe and enjoyable flight sessions—your instructor will be with you throughout your flight, regardless of your experience level.

### Is there a weight restriction?

Yes, for the safe experience of customers and instructors alike, iFLY may not be able to accommodate flyers weighing 260–300lbs—subject to additional evaluation by the local staff. Please note that iFLY will not be able to accommodate those exceeding 300lbs.

### Are there any health restrictions?

For your safety and comfort, iFLY advises against flying if you are pregnant, have non-removable hard cast/prosthetics, or if you have a history of head, neck, back, or shoulder injuries. Additionally, individuals with heart conditions or any other condition that might hinder their physical activity or elevate the risk of injury are encouraged to consult with the iFLY team before participating.

### Is parking available, and is there a fee for it?

Yes, parking is provided for free at the iFLY Portland facility. There is no need to worry about finding a spot or paying a fee.
