## Overview

One of the top zipline tours on Hawaii's Big Island, Kohala Zipline offers a full-canopy experience that combines eight ziplines perched among the trees of Halawa with sky bridges and rappels. Soar through the trees of the Halawa Gulch at up to 45mph led by certified canopy guides. Perfect for first-time and seasoned zipliners alike.

Kohala Zipline Adventure on Hawaii’s Big Island delivers a true aerial trekking experience through a privately owned forest canopy. Tree-mounted platforms, arching suspension bridges, and eight progressively thrilling ziplines anchor this immersive three-hour course, concluding with a heart-pounding rappel and sweeping views of the Kohala Coast and even Maui on clear days. WhisperLine cables minimize noise and enhance safety, while ACCT-certified guides maintain a tight ratio of one guide per four guests and support control over speed and orientation throughout the course.

The course design emphasizes sustainability and safety: dual-cable redundancy, harnesses, helmets, gloves, rainwear, water, and snacks come standard. Light hikes and platform rest stops carry cultural and environmental awareness through storytelling and scenic landscape appreciation. For guests seeking added adventure, the full-day Zip & Dip package includes an escorted hike, deli lunch, and a private waterfall swim in an idyllic natural setting.
