## Good to Know

- The trip will last approximately 3-3.5 hours, with 1.5 hours on the river and the rest on trip preparation and shuttle.
- Recommended for individuals and families.
- Arrive at the site 30 minutes before your white water rafting tour.
- Bring your own water bottle.
- Age, pregnancy and disability restrictions apply for any Ocoee river trip.
- Rafters must be 12 years of age.
- Participants must be able to fit into their type V lifejacket with a chest size no larger than 56 inches.
- All minors (17 and under) require the presence of an adult during whitewater rafting activities.
- Dress in clothes that can get wet, and wear shoes that will stay securely on your feet, with a backheel strap (flip flops are not recommended).
- Don’t forget dry clothes, shoes, and a towel for after your trip.
- In cooler weather, avoid wearing heavy cotton; wear synthetics and wool socks.
- Please leave all personal belongings in your car, guides will take your keys prior to the trip and hold them until your return.
- NOC does not permit pets on the shuttle or equipment, including rafts.
- NOC adventures run rain or shine. If inclement weather presents any safety issues, someone from NOC will reach out to reschedule or offer a refund.

## FAQs

### Are all Rafting with NOC trips guided?

Yes, all trips are fully guided.

### Is there a minimum age requirement?

Participants must be at least 12 years old for this intermediate trip. All minors (17 and under) require the presence of an adult during whitewater rafting activities.

### Is parking provided? If so, what is the fee?

There is no parking fee. If you are a guest, parking is located in the adventure parking area. During peak times, guides will offer directions to parking. Overnight parking is available at the basecamp parking lot with no permit required for personal vehicles.

### What should I wear?

Dress in clothes that can get wet, and wear shoes that will stay securely on your feet, with a backheel strap (flip flops are not recommended). Don’t forget dry clothes, shoes, and a towel for after your trip. There are changing rooms available. In cooler weather, avoid wearing heavy cotton; wear synthetics and wool socks. *Please leave all personal belongings in your car, guides will take your keys prior to the trip and hold them until your return.
