## FAQs

### Do you have A/C or heating in your vehicles?
For tours conducted in our open-air Jeeps, there is no air conditioning or heating in these vehicles. The Jeeps are equipped with canopies to shield you from the sun and we provide blankets during colder weather. For tours conducted in our enclosed vehicles, usually used for our longer day trips, there is air conditioning and heating. Blankets are also provided during colder weather.

### Will there be other people on the tour?
Although our tours are intimate due to vehicle size, there will likely be other guests on the tour.

### Should we tip our guide and if so how much?
It is customary to tip the guide. Gratuity is based on individual preference but we suggest 15%, which is the industry standard. You may tip the guide in cash or have it added to your credit card.

### What safety precautions are in place for the activity?
Our guides are highly trained in how to maneuver the vehicles and have been thoroughly trained in 4X4 techniques. Our guides are also Smith System Safety and Compliance trained for road safety and are CPR and first aid certified. For the comfort of all guests, items prohibited include, but are not limited to: Firearms, Cigarettes, E-cigarettes, Drones, Glass containers, Alcohol, Coolers, Professional video equipment, Illegal substances, Guns, Weapons of any kind, and Cremated remains.

### Can I bring my pet?
We do not allow pets on this tour. However, service animals are permitted.

### Can I bring my own food/beverages?
Due to the bouncy nature of our tours, full meals or glass bottles are prohibited on the vehicle. If necessary, you are welcome to bring a small containable snack such as a granola bar. Due to Arizona law, alcoholic beverages are prohibited in our vehicles.

### What’s included in my ticket/experience?
Arrive at the park after a comfortable ride in our custom Trekker; share a picnic lunch provided by Pink Adventure Tours; see locations where many famous films were shot; snap photos of famous Elephant Rock, Seven Sisters, and White Domes formed by natural erosion; discover the secrets of ancient petroglyphs at Atlatl Rock; stop by The Cabins, home to weary travelers in the ‘30s; photograph fiery red sandstone rock formations throughout your journey.

### How long is the tour?
The tour is approximately 5.5 to 6 hours long.

### Can I bring my camera?
Yes, great photo opportunities!

### Is transportation included? If so, where is the pick-up spot or how do I arrange it?
Yes, your tour begins right at your Las Vegas hotel, where your Certified Interpretive Guide will pick you up in one of our luxury Tour Trekkers.

### What should I wear?
We recommend wearing comfortable outdoor clothing with closed toe shoes. You may want to bring a hat and wear layer-able clothing. If you wear contacts, you may want to switch to glasses (tours can be dusty and this can irritate your eyes if you wear contacts).

### What should I bring?
Sunscreen and a bottle for water. We have a water refill station located at our merchandise store to keep your bottle full of water. Don't forget to bring a camera! Please note: A purse or standard sized backpack are acceptable, however, there is no storage space in our vehicles. Anything you bring needs to fit comfortably in your lap throughout the tour.

### Can seniors take the tours?
Yes.

### Is the tour appropriate for children?
Yes. However, children under 3 years old are not permitted.

### Is the tour wheelchair accessible?
Collapsible wheelchairs are permitted when the guest is accompanied by another adult to assist in boarding and disembarking.

### Are there any physical restrictions for this tour?
For the safety of our passengers, all guests must have upper body strength with the ability to hold themselves up during the tour. Guests are responsible for getting themselves in and out of our vehicles for their tour. Most of our tours do not require hiking, although they do have picture stops where you will be getting out of the vehicle and doing short walks on uneven terrain.
